I measured the size you gave. If the depth, front to back, of the bottom step is 11.5" and the top stair depth is 12.5", how can the overall depth measurement be 17"? That doesn't add up. If you go up 6", in 11.5, up 6" and in 12.5, the overall depth would need to be 24". Please clarify.

These Steps are designed using an innovative incline of each step which reduces the amount of stairs needed to climb, eliminating stress on your pet.

What is the height from the floor to the top of the top step? Can this be used outdoors?

These pet stairs are intended to help your pet on the couch or bed. For outdoor car use, the "Pet Gear Full Length Tri-Fold Dog Car Ramp" is recommended.

will these steps slide if used on the tile floor? I need stairs that will not move at all when my dog jumps

Very poorly made!

I bought these steps from my elderly dog who was having trouble with this hips. He was unable to get on to the bed so I thought some steps would help him to get up-and-down easier. I bought these steps thinking they would be sturdy however I was quite wrong. The 1st time he tried using them they almost toppled over with him on them. Now hes afraid to use them at all. I've had to buy a better more sturdy set that cost twice as much. I don't recommend this set of stairs for any pet of any size!

Disappointing Purchase

We bought this to help our Catahoula hop onto our son's bed at bedtime. It collapsed so easily! The weight limit says 75 pounds so we thought that it was a safe bet for our 50-pound girl. We put it back together several times, but this is too flimsy to stay put. The pieces are in a box in our basement. Our dog is now terrified to use any aid because of these steps collapsing on her as she tried to use them.

Stairs work great

Bought these because my corgi mix was having difficulty jumping up on his window perch as he got older. Easy to put together and he learned to use them easily!

Sturdy Pet Stairs

I purchased these stairs as a way to help my 6 yr old lab who has a torn ACL still access my daughter's bed at night. The stairs were easy to put together and sturdy but my pup absolutely did not want to use them. She goes up and down our stairs in the house, but she won't use these stairs. I am going to donate them.

Perfect stsirs

I just got a small senior rescue dog. He was having trouble jumping up to the couch but wouldn't wait for me to pick him up. I just got these stairs. What a relief. They are perfect for him! And super sturdy.

Worthless product

Dogs won't use waste of money to small. Wished ide never ordered both of these now I see why there at garage sales all the time

Not for big dogs

Weight limit says 75lbs. Our dog is 60 and it's definitely not sturdy enough for him. He's a low rider so has short legs, hence the need for steps. Our dog didn't like using it, too wobbly on hardwood floors (might work better on carpet) and would start to unsnap/fall apart with our larger dog. Might work better for small/light weight dogs.

Pawkids approved!

We love these steps! I bought these for our little Wickette, yorkie-pom, weighing in at 7lbs and about 7" tall on her back. Anneybelle and Ghost like to sit in the windows watching the chipmunks. Poor Wickette was feeling left out and started asking us to lift her up on the sill with them. Of course that means we have to sit there until she wants down. I bought three of these steps, two for both dining room windows and one for the computer room. At first, Ghost thought it was another scratch toy, but just twice touching his paws and saying "no" while he was in action and he carried on without that business. They all have tested them and love them! Obviously Wickette is happy for the independence as evidenced by the up and down she's been doing! I was wondering about the slight incline nature of the steps, but that's actually a great design for the animals. They were very easy to assemble. No screws or bolts, the pegs just pop into the holes where the large letters match up with each corresponding piece's letter to insert in those particular holes. I didn't even need my reading glasses. Instructions are understandable and clear. The steps were easily popped in but I had a bit of trouble with the risers because I couldn't find a good place that would work for me to press them down into the holes. I am in my sixties with a bit of arthritis so I was headed for my trusty little mallet to gently pound them in when my husband barely pressed to get them popped in. TY. You attach the steps and risers to one side piece, then pop the second side on. Just make sure to line up all the posts and holes before snapping the entire 2nd side down. Easier that way. We put all three together in less than 15 minutes! Our window sills are 16 inches up from the floor and the center back of the top step is 13" up from the floor so they are perfect for us!

Waste smaller than they were supposed to be

The reason why I gave this item to stars is because this looked way bigger the picture and it said that it would be large for large dogs and I opened it up and these stairs are so small and it says for small dogs how can you get a large dog mixed up with a small dog so I got the wrong stairs I got small stairs instead of large stairs

Not for big dogs

I bought this for my senior lab and knew as soon as we started snapping it together that it was too small for her. I have a senior Maine Coon cat that it works perfectly for though. I wouldn't advise it for a dog larger than 40lbs.
